A person has been shot dead in Ara, Bihar. After the incident, there was chaos. Two other people were injured by being beaten with sticks. The entire incident took place in Bakri village of Udwantnagar police station area.
Regarding the incident, it was told that for many days, there was a dispute going on between two groups of the community in Bakri village regarding supremacy and other disputes. Suddenly dozens of people of one community attacked the other group with weapons and sticks, in which one person died on the spot due to bullet injury. While two people were injured due to injuries. Both have been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Injured Vikash Rajak told that a few days ago there was a fight with people of another community in the village, in which we had filed a case in SST police station. For many days these people were beating and pressurizing to withdraw that case.
But we did not withdraw the case. Today we were sitting in the village community hall. Then 15-20 people attacked us with sticks and weapons. First they beat up Vikash Rajak and Nitish Kumar and injured them and then fired dozens of rounds and killed Viratan Ram by shooting him with six bullets.
After being shot, he was rushed to a private hospital for treatment. But the doctor declared him dead here. After the incident, angry people blocked the Ara-Patna road near Purvi Gumti with the dead body. Police from Nawada and Nagar police station reached the spot and cleared the blockade by convincing the family members and sent the dead body to Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
After the murder, the angry family members told the Bhojpur SP who reached Sadar Hospital to meet them that a person from the family was murdered due to the negligence of the Udwantnagar police station. SP Pramod Kumar said that a person was murdered in a previous dispute. As soon as the police got the information about this, the fleeing criminals were chased. In this the police had an encounter with one of the criminals. The criminal started firing first, to which the police also retaliated. One criminal got shot in the encounter. The injured person has been said to be Alok Baba, a notorious criminal of Patna.
