Neighbors mercilessly thrashed a young man who had come to his sister’s in-laws house in Arrah, Bihar in a dispute over demanding khaini (tobacco). The case is of Jagdishpur police station area. The accused are absconding since the murder. The police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.
According to the information, 45-year-old Mahesh Mushar of Sadhu Mushar of Majhauli village of Bihiya police station area had come to his sister’s in-laws Jagdishpur. Late Saturday evening, Mahesh asked his brother-in-law’s neighbor Sahatu Musahar for khaini, but Sahatu Musahar refused to give it. During that time there was an argument with Mahesh and the other side, but the people present on the spot pacified the matter.

After some time again both the sides started arguing and the matter reached to a fight. After this, Sahatu Musahar and his companions together beat Mahesh Musahar with sticks and made him bleed. In a hurry, the injured was taken to the sub-division hospital of Jagdishpur in critical condition. Wounded Mahesh Mushar died during treatment here. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the dead body for post-mortem at Sadar Hospital. In this case, the Jagdishpur police have registered a case and arrested one accused of murder, while raids are being conducted to arrest the other accused.
