Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Movie Review: Tabu’s rule in Karthik Aryan and Kiara Advani’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Movie Review : Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu starrer film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has been released in theatres. Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ was directed by Priyadarshan in 2007, which grossed hugely in theaters and was well received by the audience. In this film, which came after 15 years of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, this time Karthik is seen in place of Akshay. At the same time, Aneez Bazmee has taken the command of the direction in his hands. Aneez Bazmee has continuously given flop comedy films like ‘Mubarakan’, ‘Pagalpanti’ in the past. Have they been able to do justice to this horror-comedy of Priyadarshan, let us tell you in this review.

Talking about the story, the film begins with Manjulika’s ghost being locked in a room with the help of a tantrik and then the story reaches directly after 18 years. Ruhaan Randhawa (Karthik Aryan) is the son of a famous business tycoon and is enjoying his life by roaming around the world. He meets Reet (Kiara Advani). To help Reet, Ruhaan reaches Bhawanigarh in Rajasthan on her request. Karthik reaches here and tells everyone that he can talk to ghosts and just Roohan becomes Rooh Baba. But trouble begins when Manjulika’s ghost comes out.

Funny comedy and a tinge of horror
Karthik and Akshay Kumar were being compared since the sequel announcement of this film. But after watching the film, it is clear that Karthik Aryan’s entry is justified for this new flavor story. Karthik has done his job well. Although there was not much to do for Kiara because this film is of Tabu. Even in this labyrinth, Tabu has not been seen wandering or drifting anywhere in the matter of acting. In fact, if there is any similarity between the old and the new film, it is Rajasthan and Rajpal Yadav. Some funny punchlines have come in Rajpal’s part only.

Actually, the work of comedy has been handled by Rajpal Yadav, Karthik Aryan and Sanjay Mishra and has handled it well. Most of the dialogue work of the film and you will see a lot of horrifying funda in this film. It is a family entertainer and you can enjoy this film with the whole family.

like a maze, there is no logic, there is a ghost
Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which came 15 years ago, was a tremendous film by Akshay Kumar, whose real message was that ghosts are nothing and sometimes such things are illusions of our mind. If you are going to watch ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ with this impression of the first ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, then you will not find that logic in this film. In this labyrinth there are ghosts as well as spirits and sometimes they are seen walking on the wall in front of them. Actually, because of the title ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, you feel cheated after watching the climax of this film. My biggest complaint is that you could have brought it in front of the audience like any other ghost film, you could have given it a new name… In the name of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ it is a kind of cheating with the audience because ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ seems to be breaking its basic theme.

In the end, Ye Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 of Aneez Bazmee will make you laugh a lot and scare you a lot, just a little more work could have been done on the climax. You must watch this film once with your family. 3 stars to this film from my side.
