Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again: This Diwali, two Bollywood films were released simultaneously. Both the films are the third part of their respective superhit franchises. The first is Singham Again and the second is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
The clash of both the films created a storm at the box office. Both the films crossed the 100 crore mark in the first weekend and now by the end of the second weekend they have also crossed the 200 crore mark.
However, in both the films, Singham Again had the upper hand in the beginning. Ajay Devgan’s film got more screen shares than Kartik Aryan’s horror comedy and the opening (43.5 crores) was also more than Kartik Aryan’s film (35.5 crores).
Even in the opening weekend, the earnings of Kartik Aryan’s film lagged behind that of Singham Again. Apart from this, Karthik Aryan lagged behind in the daily earnings in the first few days. But the interest of the audience gradually changed the picture. 1- Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 created more magic in less screen space than Singham Again.
Despite less screenshare, Karthik Aryan’s film was able to earn almost the same amount as Singham Again in 3 days. This is a big thing, because the shows of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 were extended after the first two days. Singham Again had the same number of shows as before. Obviously, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 maintained its buzz more than Singham Again.
2- Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 ahead in profit from Singham Again
There is a huge difference in the budget of both the films. While the budget of Karthik’s film is Rs 150 crore, the budget of Ajay Devgan’s film is Rs 350 crore. The worldwide collection of Karthik’s film has reached around Rs 300 crore.
That means the film is almost 200 percent profitable. Whereas Singham Again still has to earn around Rs 50-60 crore more to reach its budget.
3- On the basis of less stardom star cast, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 defeated the big stars of Singham again:
There are faces like Madhuri Dixit-Vidya Balan in Kartik Aryan’s film but they currently stay away from the limelight. Apart from this, Kartik Aryan’s stardom is still growing.
Whereas with Singham Again, it was the opposite, despite the stardom of more than half a dozen big stars like Ajay Devgan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, the makers of the film have not been able to make profits yet. Whereas Karthik’s film has earned double the budget.
4- In the last days, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 earned more than Singham Again.
According to Saknilk, Singham Again was ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in the earnings of the first 3 days, but as soon as the first weekend ended, the daily earnings of Karthik’s film started reaching equal to the daily earnings of Ajay Devgan’s film.
By the 6th, 7th and 8th day, Karthik’s film started beating Singham Again in this matter too and started earning more than Singham every day.
Singham Again lags behind Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in earnings in 5-10 days.
Singham Again has lagged behind in the earnings of even 10 days. By the time of writing the story, Singham Again had earned around Rs 208 crore at the domestic box office. So the official figures of 9 days of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 show its earning to be Rs 198.66 crore. If we add today’s earning, it reaches around Rs 215 crore. That means in this matter also Singham again lagged behind.
