If you are preparing for a government job and wish to get a job in the prestigious institution, then there is a lot of good news for you. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has announced recruitment to 199 posts of Junior Clerk under Group C. The online application process for this vacancy has started from 18 March 2025 and interested candidates can apply through the official website of BHU by 17 April 2025.
BHU has declared a total of 199 posts. Most of these posts are for general category. Apart from this, adequate posts are also reserved for OBC, SC, ST, EWS and Divyang class. This has opened the doors of opportunity for youth of different classes.
Essential educational qualification
The candidate applying for this recruitment must be a second class graduate from a recognized institute. Also, there should be 6 months computer training in office automation, book keeping and word processing. If the candidate has a second class diploma in a computer recognized computer, then he can apply.
Age limit
Talking about the age limit, the age of the general class candidate should be between 18 and 30 years. The maximum age limit for OBC category candidates is kept at 33 years, while for SC/ST category this limit is fixed up to 35 years.
This will be selected
Candidates will be selected through a prescribed examination process. There will be a written test in the first phase, in which candidates who are successful will have to give typing test or skill test. All information related to selection and exam pattern is available on BHU’s website.
