Andhra Pradesh: An explosion took place in a pharma company located in Anakapalle, Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday (21 August). The explosion was so severe that 18 people were badly injured. Immediately after the accident, the injured were rushed to the nearest hospital, where their treatment is going on.
According to reports, this blast took place in the reactor of a company located in Achyutapuram SEZ. A team of doctors is monitoring all the injured. The relatives of the injured have also reached the hospital. It is said that all of them are angry since this incident.
A major accident was averted
It is also being said that a major accident was averted at the pharma company in Anakapalle, Andhra Pradesh. Actually, the accident happened at lunch time. It was told that most of the workers go out at lunch time and very few employees are present near the reactor.
Eyewitnesses told the truth
Eyewitnesses while talking to the media described the devastation that spread during the accident. They said that the scenes at the site of the accident were shocking and black smoke was coming out of the reactor which was touching the sky. At the same time, the high flames of the fire were also increasing their concern.

People present at the spot also told that the smoke spread to the nearby villages in no time. Panic spread among the villagers as well. It was told that due to the smoke they were facing a lot of problems in breathing. They were not even able to see anything.
Officials have started relief and rescue operations at the spot, the District Collector and Superintendent of Police are present on the spot to monitor the situation. At the same time, orders have also been given to investigate this accident.
