Payment will be made only through smart card
According to the information given by AIIMS Institute, now only payment will be taken through smart card in AIIMS. Cash payment will not be taken at any counter other than the smart card top-up counter. After March 31, patients coming to AIIMS for treatment and their families will not be able to pay in cash. Payment can be made only by going to the smart card top-up counter. These counters will be opened at different places. Along with this, it will remain operational 24 hours on all days of the week.
This is the reason behind the decision
Explaining the reason behind its decision, the AIIMS administration said that people from outside provide services to the patients of AIIMS. He used to charge more money from patients by making irregularities in the bills. To prevent these cases, the facility of making payment through smart card is being introduced. Payment can be made through this smart card at all places inside AIIMS. According to the information given by AIIMS, after March 31, apart from electronic payment through UPI, debit card, credit card, the method of payment for all tests and procedures will be AIIMS Smart Card.
