The contestant we are talking about is none other than Chahat Pandey. Chahat has worked in many TV serials and has also contested elections.
Born and brought up in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, Chahat started her acting career with the 2016 TV show Pavitra Bandhan. At that time she was only 17 years old.
After this, Chahat did many other shows like Aisi Deewangi Dekhi Nahi Kahin, Crime Patrol Satark, Savdhaan India and Tenali.
However, the actress got her first lead role in the show Hamari Bahu Silk in the year 2019. The actress became famous in every household with this daily soap.
Pandey has since done many serials like Dwarkadhish Bhagwan Shri Krishna – Sarvakala Sampanna and Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya. Before taking a break from acting to focus on her political career, Chahat was last seen in the TV series Nath on Dangal TV.
In 2020, Chahat Pandey and her mother were accused of allegedly entering, vandalizing and attacking her uncle’s apartment.
After this incident, when the matter reached the police station, the police went to arrest them but Chahat Pandey had run away. But later the police caught him and presented him in the court, after which he had to go to jail. Although he got bail.
Chahat also tried her luck in politics. Ahead of the 2023 Madhya Pradesh state assembly elections, the actress had joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and contested from her hometown Damoh.
However, Chahat lost by a huge margin and got only 2292 votes and thus her deposit was also forfeited. Jayant Malaiya of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had won from Damoh assembly constituency and BJP had won a huge victory in the elections.
