Land worth Rs 1.68 billion of Kanpur Development Authority in Panki and Gangaganj in Kanpur was sold by private farmers and societies by preparing fake papers. Names of others are registered in Khatauni of about 4.5788 hectares of land. This has been revealed in the investigation of KDA. It has been revealed that there was fraud in the Khatauni of 68 plots.
Instructions have been given to form a team in the case and file the case online. A team was formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Ravi Pratap Singh, Special Officer, Land Bank (Zone 2), KDA. In which Naib Tehsildar Maujilal, Accountant Jagjivan Ram and Vishambhar Dayal were kept. The Special Officer said that the papers of all the houses were prepared with the help of private tenants (Indraj).
