Five people of two families, residents of Hichhapur Bigha of Konch police station area of Gaya district, have died in a road accident in Mathura, UP. The incident happened on Thursday. On October 16, the family had set out from Gaya in search of two meals a day. All the people were going in a pickup van to work at the brick kiln located at Hodal in Palwal district of Haryana. At the same time the vehicle suddenly collided with an electric pole. The people sitting in the vehicle started jumping to escape.
The family members are in bad condition and crying.
Meanwhile, the pickup van driver took the vehicle back and 5 people died tragically at the spot. These include 35-year-old Gauri Devi, her 2-year-old daughter Komal, 28-year-old Kunti Devi, her 2-year-old daughter Priyanka and Moni Devi who have died. About a dozen people have been injured. There is chaos in the village after the incident. The family members are in bad condition and crying. The entire village is in shock. All the families of the deceased had gone together in search of work.

In this regard, local Uttaran Panchayat head Ram Niwas Prasad said that five deaths have been reported in the tragic incident. About one and a half dozen people of Manjhi community had come out from the village to work at the brick kiln. The bodies of all the deceased are likely to reach Gaya this afternoon. All the deceased belong to two families. Many people are admitted in the hospital there and are undergoing treatment.
