The incident is of Tihay village of Kolwara panchayat under Pasraha police station area of Khagaria. The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Pankaj Kumar, son of Dhalo Sharma, resident of ward number 10. After the incident, the police reached the spot and got involved in the investigation. Regarding the incident, the father of the deceased Dhalo Sharma said that he was at some distance from his son Pankaj. Only then two miscreants fired three bullets on him. Two bullets hit the body of the deceased due to which Pankaj died on the spot.

The deceased’s father Dhalo Sharma has accused Radhe Sharma and Dheeraj Sharma of the village for the murder. In the case, Dhalo Sharma, the father of the deceased, told that his son Pankaj and Dheeraj Sharma had enmity because of a girl from Telibathan, due to which he shot and killed his son.

Dhalo Sharma, father of the deceased, says that last 6 years ago there was a dispute between Dheeraj Sharma and the deceased Pankaj Kumar over commenting on a girl from Teliabathan. Firing also took place in this dispute. In this case, the deceased Pankaj Kumar had come out of jail a few months back. Due to this enmity, Dheeraj Kumar shot and killed Pankaj Kumar.
Police engaged in investigation
After the incident, Pasrah Police Station President Ashutosh Kumar reached the spot along with the team. At the same time, Gogri SDPO Manoj Kumar also reached the spot and investigated the matter. The police station chief said that the dead body has been taken into custody and sent to Khagaria Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police is investigating the matter under the leadership of a senior official and is continuously conducting raids to arrest the criminals.
