On Sunday, a police patrolling vehicle and a Scorpio collided fiercely on the Patna-Bakhtiyarpur four lane. Four policemen were injured in this accident. All the injured have been admitted to the community health center of Bakhtiyarpur for treatment. From here they were referred to PMCH for better treatment. Bakhtiyarpur police station in-charge said that all the Kanwariyas riding the Scorpio fled from there. All of them are being searched. Nearby CCTV footage is being used.
There was a severe head-on collision between the two vehicles
It is being told that Kanwariyas were travelling in the Scorpio car, who were returning after worshipping at Deoghar. The Scorpio was coming from the east at a high speed, while on the other side the police patrolling party of Bakhtiyarpur police station was going from west to east. As soon as they reached near the Dhoba Pul four lane, there was a fierce head-on collision between the two vehicles. As soon as the collision took place, both the vehicles overturned on the road. The collision was so severe that the front part of both the vehicles was completely damaged. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the nearby villagers reached the spot.
Four policemen including a patrolling party officer were aboard
It is being told that four policemen including an officer of the patrolling party were travelling in the police gypsy. All of them were injured in the accident. The injured policemen include ASI Shankar Paswan (45 years), constable Gopal Prasad (59 years), Sanjay Kumar (45 years) and Mahendra Paswan (52 years). The villagers informed the Bakhtiyarpur police station about this. On receiving the information, the police of Bakhtiyarpur police station reached the spot and all the injured policemen were admitted to the Community Health Center Bakhtiyarpur for treatment. After first aid, the injured constable has been referred to Patna for better treatment.
