Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar formally inaugurated the program of Bihar Day 2023 at Gandhi Maidan by lighting the lamp and blowing balloons. During this, he once again demanded the status of a special state from the central government. He said that Bihar is continuously moving towards development. But if it had got the status of a special state, Bihar would have developed more.
Bihar will move ahead if it gets special status
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar demanded from the Central Government that if Bihar gets the status of a special state, then Bihar will move forward a lot. Comparing the per capita income of Bihar, he said that the per capita income in the country is 1.5 lakh while the per capita income of Bihar is 64.383 thousand rupees. He said that the growth rate of Bihar has been increasing continuously since the year 2009. Bihar should get the status of a special state. Bihar will progress faster after getting the status of special state. Reiterating the same thing, the Finance Minister said that we are moving forward, but if we get the status of special state, then our Bihar will be at the forefront.
Economic status of people will be known from caste census
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that after the year 1931, caste-based census has not been done in the country. An attempt was made once in the year 2011 but its report was not published because it was not done properly. He further said that people of all parties of Bihar had demanded the Prime Minister to conduct a caste-based census, but the demand was not accepted. We are getting caste based enumeration done in Bihar. The caste enumeration and the survey being conducted will also reveal the economic condition of the people.
Deputy Chief Minister called Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav great men
Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav first felicitated the people in a poetic way in the program organized on Bihar Day. And then talked about the development being done in Bihar. In this sequence, he said that there were many great men in our country who took the country and Bihar forward. In such a situation, the Chief Minister and Lalu Prasad Yadav are also there.
The Education Minister also called the Chief Minister the craftsman of Bihar
Education Minister Dr. Chandrashekhar praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar while giving his presidential speech. During this, he said that when the development of Bihar will be talked about, the name of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will come at the top. Nitish Kumar is the craftsman of Bihar who took Bihar so far forward.
