In Saharsa, bike-borne miscreants threw acid on two children going back home, in which both the children got scorched. The case pertains to the Greenfield School located near the Vidyapati Nagar railway track in the Sadar police station area. The injured children are Lucky Raj (10) and Mir Arsad Ahmed (14), residents of Ward No. 16, Vidyapati Nagar, Professor Colony.

Both the children told that both of them were going to their home. That’s why three miscreants on a black bike threw acid on him on the way. Lucky Raj and Mir Arshad Ahmed started crying loudly as soon as the acid fell on their bodies. Hearing the cries of the children, the people around ran. By then the bike-borne miscreants fled from there. The face and some part of the body of both the children are scorched in the acid attack.

Cause of incident not clear

In a hurry, the people around admitted both the children to a private clinic. On getting the information of the incident, the relatives and the police also reached the hospital. The police inquired about the incident from both the children. Then the family members were also interrogated but the family members denied having any kind of enmity with anyone. At present, both the injured children are undergoing treatment in a private clinic.

The statements of the doctor and the police are different.

Dr. Ramji Kumar, who is treating the children, says that there has been an acid attack. The children are serious, they are being treated. While ASI Brajesh Chauhan of Sadar police station says that it is not a case of acid attack. He said that the police is probing each and every point.
