Rashmi Verma, BJP MLA from Narkatiaganj, has accused TP Verma College personnel of misbehaving and assaulting her. The MLA has given an application against them in Shikarpur police station. In the application given to the police, the MLA has accused college workers Sujit Kumar Verma, Anoop Tiwari, Sunil Kumar Verma, Sanjay Chowdhary, Divya and Priyanka Kumari.
Accused of mismanagement in the college
The MLA alleged that the land of TP Verma College was donated by his grandfather, so he has a lot of attachment to that college. Mismanagement is rampant in this college. BJP MLA Rashmi Verma said that the principal of this college is always missing. He also said that illegal extortion is done by the teachers and non-teaching staff of B.Ed in the name of marks sheet, form filling, practical etc. She has told in the application given in the police station that on June 7, on the complaint of the students, she had come to investigate the bribe of Rs 2,000 being taken in the internal examination of B.Ed. As soon as they entered the college premises, the accused and other workers first opposed the MLA Rashmi Verma and then when the MLA did not agree, the college workers attacked her with a deadly attack. BJP MLA Rashmi Verma also alleges that she was misbehaved and on the contrary an application was also filed against her at Shikarpur police station.
Police engaged in investigation
BJP MLA Rashmi Verma has told the police that the incident was carried out by teachers and non-teaching staff, despite belonging to the land donor family. He has demanded the police to take action against the college personnel. Here, Trainee DSP Co-SHO Navneet Kumar said that on the application of the MLA, the police started investigating the matter.
