Under the Competency Test 2024 (First), the examination was conducted from February 26 to March 6 for 1,48,845 teachers in categories 1 to 5. Primary school teacher candidates in classes 1 to 5 had to appear in English language and any one of Hindi or Urdu or Bengali language examination. Thus, in classes 1 to 5, 1,29,439 teacher candidates of Hindi subject, 19,317 teacher candidates who filled the option of Urdu subject and 89 teacher candidates of Bengali subject (total 1,48,845 teacher candidates including all three subjects) appeared in this examination. Out of total 1,48,845 teachers who appeared in the competency test, 1,39,010 teachers have appeared, whose passing percentage is 93.39 percent. Out of 1,29,439 teachers who filled the option of Hindi subject in class 1 to 5 in this examination, 1,22,347 teachers have passed, whose passing percentage is 85.81%. Out of 89 teachers who appeared in this examination with the option of Bengali subject, 88 teachers have passed, whose passing percentage is 98.88%.
Counseling will start soon
After the district allotment of all the successful teachers in classes 1 to 5 by the committee, counseling of all the successful teachers will be done by the education department. After that, action will be taken for allotment of a separate school. Separate information regarding this will be sent to the concerned teachers later by the Education Department.
