Intermediate examination conducted by Bihar School Examination Board is starting from today. A total of 1523 examination centers have been set up in Bihar. Some 13 lakh four thousand candidates will appear in this examination. This examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 noon and the second shift will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Some guidelines have been issued by Bihar Board for the candidates. Bihar Board Chairman Anand Kishore has appealed to the students not to carry electronic gadgets to the examination centre. These include electronic watches, smart watches, magnetic watches, Bluetooth devices and other electronic devices. Still, if the candidate appears in the examination wearing it, he will be expelled from the examination and the responsibility for this will be on the concerned candidate and invigilator. Candidates can enter the examination hall only by wearing a watch with two hands.

There will be question papers in 10 sets in all subjects. Like Set A, Set B, Set C, Set D to Set J. Every 10 students will be given a different set. Entry of unauthorized persons has been banned within a radius of 200 meters of the examination centre. Officers and policemen have been deployed to ensure this.

Bihar Board Chairman Anand Kishore said that the state is clean,

The committee is determined to organize the examination in an organized and excellent manner, free from malpractices and with strictness. For this purpose, all necessary instructions have been given to the District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police and District Education Officer of all the districts so that all the instructions of the committee are strictly followed while conducting the examination. Besides, it has also been directed that the sanctity of the examination has to be ensured at all costs by following the state government’s zero tolerance policy in conducting the examination.

The Chairman of Bihar Board has instructed all the District Officers and Superintendents of Police that they will remain on tour at various examination centers in their district during the examinations and will also direct their subordinate officers to remain on tour at the examination centres. At the same time, three-tier magistrates have been deputed at all the examination centers like zonal, sub zonal and super zonal level. Besides, adequate number of police forces and officials have also been deputed at the examination centres.
