Matriculation examination is starting from today in Bihar. Bihar School Examination Committee has already completed all the preparations regarding this. After rain in many areas of the state, students reached the examination center on Thursday morning amidst dense fog in many areas including Patna. Tight security arrangements have been made here. Bihar Board is conducting the examination at 1585 examination centres. This time 16 lakh 94 thousand 781 children are appearing for the matriculation examination. These will include 8 lakh 22 thousand 587 boys and 8 lakh 72 thousand 194 girl students. This time the number of girl students is 49 thousand 607 more than that of boys. Bihar Boarder has clearly stated that students will have to enter 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
Examination being conducted in two shifts
This time also Bihar Board is conducting the examination in two shifts. 8 lakh 50 thousand 571 candidates are appearing in the first shift and 8 lakh 44 thousand 210 candidates are appearing in the second shift. Here, 70 examination centers have been made in Patna. Here 75 thousand 850 are appearing for the exam. 38 thousand 185 candidates are appearing in the first shift and 37 thousand 663 candidates are appearing in the second shift. The first shift exam is being held from 9.30 am and the second shift exam is being held from 2 pm. It is prohibited to carry electronic devices to the examination centre. There is an exemption to wear only a watch with one hand.
This action will be taken against these candidates
Bihar School Examination Committee (Bihar Board) will impose a ban of two years on those matriculation candidates who are found guilty of entering by climbing the wall or gate. This decision has been implemented from the matriculation examination starting from Thursday. In the press release issued by Bihar Board, it is clearly written that attempting to enter the examination center after time is a criminal act and now as a punishment for this, a decision has been taken to ban the examination for two years.
