Veteran Gandhian leader and former Bihar minister Brajkishore Singh died after a prolonged illness. Brajkishore (94) breathed his last at a hospital in Motihari at 3 pm on Wednesday. He was the health minister of the Bihar government between 1982 and 1985.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed grief over the demise of the Gandhian leader. He said, Brajkishore Singh did many remarkable works as the Health Minister of Bihar. His demise is an irreparable loss to the society. A statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office said that Brajkishore Singh’s last rites will be performed with full state honors.

Former Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh also expressed grief over the death of Brajkishore Singh. He paid tribute to the mortal remains of Singh, a staunch Gandhian leader and secretary of the Gandhi Museum, after his death.
