In the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken many big decisions. The most important among them is that he has decided to divide Patna Sadar Zone. Now there will be a total of four zones in Patna Sadar. These include Patna Sadar, Pataliputra, Patna City and Didarganj. Nitish Kumar has now also made it clear that which constituency will be a part of which zone. Under this decision of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the proposal to create these four zones has been approved.

Kankarbagh, Bankipur, Rajapur and Mithapur areas have been included in Patna Sadar Zone. Kankarbagh, Kotwali, Secretariat Police Station, Jakkanpur, Shri Krishna Puri, Patrakar Nagar, Buddha Colony, Gandhi Maidan, Pirbahor and Kadam Kuan have been included in it. Digha, Chitkohra and Sheikhpura areas have been included in Patliputra Zone. Patliputra, Digha, Shastri Nagar, Rajiv Nagar, Gardanibagh and Airport have been included in Patliputra Zone. Azimabad, Saidpur, Kiledari and Kumhrar areas have been included in Patna City Zone. Agam Kuan, Khajekala Chowk, Malsalami, Sultanganj, Bahadurpur, Mehndiganj and Alamganj Police Stations have been included in Patna City Zone. Fatehpur, Ranipur, Marchi, Nagla, Sonawan, Sabalpur, Mahuli and Punadih areas have been included in Didarganj Zone. Bypass, Didarganj and Nadi Police Stations will now be under it.
