A clash broke out between two groups during the immersion of Saraswati idol on Thursday night in Masaha Tola Ward No. 3 of Parihar police station area of ​​Sitamarhi district of Bihar. However, immediately upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and pacified the matter, after which the immersion procession went ahead.

Actually, Saraswati Puja has been organized in the district in a cordial and peaceful environment. The process of immersion of most of the idols has been completed on Thursday. The immersion of the remaining idols will be conducted cordially and peacefully on Friday. At the same time, the talk of turmoil between the two parties in village Munhachatti under Kanhauli police station started going viral on social media.

On this, SDPO Sadar Ramakrishna said that a misleading and factless news is being spread through social media that the situation is tense in village Munhachatti under Kanhauli police station. There is no such case. A written application was given by the local puja committee there that they should be allowed immersion on the 16th. Also, a demand was made to immerse the idol in the local river. He told that after investigation it was found that immersion in the river cannot be done. For this, an artificial ghat has been constructed. Where immersion will be done today in a peaceful atmosphere. Police have appealed to the people to avoid misleading news.
