In a joint operation of Patna’s District Administration and Mining Department, a major action has been taken on several ghats of Maner on Saturday. In this, the administration launched a fierce raid campaign against the sand mafia. After the incident, there was a stir among the sand mafia. As soon as there was a whisper of the arrival of the administration, the sand mafia fled towards Diyara via the river.
70 boats and a bulldozer were set on fire
Danapur Police Sub-Divisional Officer Abhinav Dhiman said that he had received information that two sand mafia had got entangled with each other over some issue. After getting the information, the police of Patna, Bhojpur and Saran reached the spot. That’s why the sand mafia escaped from there. He told that about 70 boats and a bulldozer were set ablaze by the sand mafia. The police is investigating the case

Many times there was a dispute between the sand mafia and the administration regarding the raid. The Malu mafia had clashed several times with the administration and the mining department as well. On seeing the administration team, the feet of the sand mafia were uprooted and they ran away from there.
