Patna, The number of Coronavirus patients is increasing in Bihar. Two patients were found in Patna on 21 December. After this, the third patient was found in Patna on Sunday itself. Now the fourth case was found in Sasaram on Monday. A 10 year old girl has been found corona positive in Sasaram. Of the two patients who were found after a long gap on December 21, one person had returned from a trip to Kerala and the other had returned from a trip to Assam. Now the strictness is going to increase in the state regarding the new variant JN.1.

corona virus Regarding this, the Health Department has decided that all the patients coming to the hospital suffering from fever, cough and respiratory disease will be compulsorily tested for Covid. If in the investigation his report comes Corona positive then genome sequencing will also be done. After receiving Corona positive case, the Health Department has sent new guidelines to all the principals of medical colleges, hospital superintendents as well as all civil surgeons apart from RMRI, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences and Patna AIIMS.
The concerned officials have been instructed to strictly follow the rules related to Covid. Guidelines have been sent to all the districts by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department.
The girl is admitted in Narayan Medical College Hospital.
According to the Health Department, the ten-year-old girl in Sasaram in whom Covid has been confirmed is currently admitted in Narayana Medical College Hospital, Sasaram. The girl had gone to Imamganj Sherghati in Gaya to attend a family function. Some of his relatives had come from Asansol. After returning from here, the girl’s health deteriorated and when she was tested, she was found corona positive. Other members of the house are healthy.
