Within the last 16 days, the second death from Corona occurred on Sunday (April 23) at Anugraha Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital in the district. On the other hand, in the investigation of Corona on Sunday, the report of 21 people has come positive. A 40-year-old man from Chatra district of Jharkhand was corona infected, who was admitted in the pre-fabricated ward of Anugraha Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital.
Hospital Superintendent Dr. Sriprakash Singh told that the person was admitted on 10 April. He was suffering from diabetes and BP. During this, Corona was investigated three times and every time its report has come positive. The first death occurred on April 7. The woman was a resident of Makhdumpur in Jehanabad district. His age was around 70 years. He was admitted on 5th April. This is the second death in the hospital 16 days after the woman’s death.
21 new cases found in Gaya on Sunday
Gaya’s civil surgeon Dr. Ranjan Kumar Singh said that on Sunday (April 23), 21 new corona infected have been found in the district. Of these, maximum seven have been found in Wazirganj, five in Tikari, six in Gaya city and three in other blocks. Most of the patients found infected are women. The number of active patients has increased to 75 in the district. Two patients are undergoing treatment at ANMMCH. The rest of the patients are in home isolation. Told that there is a need to be careful in view of the increasing corona infection in the district.
Active case increased to 857 in Bihar
Talking about the entire state, according to the report released on Sunday, there are 857 active cases of corona virus in Bihar. 35400 tests have been done between Saturday to Sunday. Meanwhile, 133 new cases have been found. Maximum 80 patients have been found in Patna district. Seven cases have been found in Purnia. The number of active patients has increased to 399 in Patna. The number of active patients has increased to 56 in Bhagalpur, 52 in Gaya, 41 in Purnia and 40 in Khagaria.
