In Khagaria, Bihar, miscreants shot dead a youth in broad daylight on Monday. The deceased youth has been identified as Rajeev Kumar alias Chhotu, son of Devo Gupta, resident of Bandehara village of Pasraha police station area. After the incident, the angry relatives blocked the Bandhera Chowk of NH 31 for two hours. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Pasraha police station reached the spot. During this, the police kept trying to pacify the family members and make the Chowk jam-free.
According to the information, Rajeev Kumar alias Chhotu had gone out of his house early in the morning to wash his face. That’s why three miscreants riding a bike showered bullets on him. Rajeev was hit by three bullets, due to which he died on the spot. According to the family members, the miscreants have executed the incident because of not giving extortion on demand.
After the incident, Pasraha Police Station President Ashutosh Kumar reached the spot with a team force. Along with this, Gogri DSP Manoj Kumar also reached the spot to investigate the matter. After assuring the family members of the action, the police got the NH jam-free.
At the same time, Pasraha police station president said that the situation is under control now. The police is investigating the case NH is being made jam free. After taking necessary paperwork, the process of sending the dead body for postmortem is being adopted.
