A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Begusarai in Bihar. Here the father of four daughters beat his wife to death in a drunken state. He often used to beat his wife for not having a son. Police have arrested the accused.
According to the information, the whole matter is related to Muradpur village of Birpur police station area. The deceased has been identified as Ruksana Khatoon, wife of Mohammad Wasim, a resident of Muradpur village under Birpur police station area. Ruksana’s brother Mohammad Irshad told that 10 years ago, Ruksana was married to Mohammad Wasim, a resident of Birpur police station area. After marriage, both had four daughters. Wasim used to beat and abuse my sister Ruksana for not having a son. He used to create ruckus everyday after drinking alcohol in the house. Irshad told that on Wednesday night Wasim came home drunk and started arguing with Ruksana. On protesting, Vasin started fighting with Ruksana. He kept on beating Ruksana till she died. After the murder, Wasim ran away leaving the dead body at home.
Police arrested the accused husband
The villagers of the neighborhood informed us about the incident. He told that Ruksana Khatoon was beaten to death by her husband. When we reached there, Ruksana was lying dead. Its information was given to the Birpur police station. On reaching the spot, the police of Birpur police station took the dead body in their custody and sent it to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem and got involved in further action. Birpur Police Station President Samarendra Kumar has told that a woman has died suspiciously, the relatives have been accused of murder. In this case, the police have taken the accused husband into custody and the investigation is on.
