In Siwan, fearless criminals shot dead the nephew of former ward councilor during snatching. The incident took place near Gopalpur chimney of Hussainganj police station area. The deceased has been identified as Mukul Tiwari (25), son of Munna Tiwari, resident of Dakshin Tola of Nagar police station area.

The incident occurred while returning from the wedding ceremony.

According to relatives, Mukul was returning from Gopalpur on a bike along with his elder brother Avinash Tiwari late on Monday night after attending a wedding ceremony. Then some armed criminals surrounded him near Gopalpur chimney and started snatching his bike. When he protested, the criminals shot him. After somehow saving his life after the incident, elder brother Abhishek Tiwari took his injured brother from Scorpios passing by and reached Siwan’s Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the people of his locality gathered in the hospital. The whole family is in shock.
