In Begusarai, criminals shot and seriously injured a gold businessman late in the evening. In a hurry, the relatives admitted him to a private hospital in an injured condition where his condition remains critical. The case is near Basona Mod of Shahpur Panchayat under Cheria Bariarpur police station area. The injured has been identified as Umesh Sah, about 32 years old son of late Vishnu Dev Sah, resident of Ward No. 10 of Navkothi Panchayat.
Cause of incident not clear
In relation to the incident, the local people say that late on Saturday, gold trader Umesh Sah was going home after closing his shop near Basauna turn of Shahpur panchayat. Then unknown bike riding criminals shot Umesh Sah. As soon as the bullet hit, Umesh Shah fell on the ground. Hearing the gunshot, the people around ran there, seeing which the bike-riding criminals fled from there. In a hurry, the local people rushed there and picked up Umesh, who was bleeding on SS-55, and admitted him to a private hospital and informed the local police about the incident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, Police Station President Amar Kumar reached the spot and got involved in the investigation.
People are saying this is not loot, the matter is something else
Relatives told that Umesh Sah has a jewelery shop in Khanjhapur. While returning home after closing the shop, the criminals targeted him.
After the incident, the local people hurriedly admitted him to a private hospital where the doctors referred the injured Umesh Sah to Patna for better treatment in view of his critical condition. At present, the police is probing various aspects. Local people say that this is not a case of robbery but something else. At present the police is investigating the matter.
