The ED team has raided the housing finance company Leading Homes, which was involved in the scam in the name of flat booking in Patna. The ED team has simultaneously raided 5 locations of the owner and close relatives of Leading Homes in Patna. Simultaneously raided the company’s other locations including Delhi, Lucknow and Varanasi. The ED team seized all the documents and data of this company. The investigation of the documents was going on till late Tuesday night.
Raid in many areas including Kankarbagh, Gola Road
If sources are to be believed, the ED team reached Patna from Delhi late on Tuesday evening and reached the house of Alok Singh, the owner of Pioneer Homes. At the same time, a separate team reached the places of his close relatives. These areas include Yogipur, Kankarbagh, Kanti Factory Road, Gola Road areas. This action of the team continued till late night. However, the ED official did not give a statement in this matter. It is being told that the ED officials scrutinized the agreement documents, accounts and other documents of flat sale in Patna. Many irregularities have been found in it. ED has taken this action under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
Rs 14 crore embezzled in the name of flat booking
Actually, there is an allegation on Leading Homes that common people of Patna were taken money in the name of flat booking. This amount was Rs 14 crore. After this he neither returned the money nor gave the flat. Case happened in this case. The matter reached the court. After this, the Patna Police raided and arrested Alok Kumar, Director of Pioneer Homes, from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. The director of Leading Homes was accused of cheating about three hundred people of Patna and not giving flats. People had also gone to the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) regarding this matter, from there an order was issued to return the money or give the flat to the leading homes, but the director ignored it. The people doing the case have to make sure that the police take this matter seriously so that everyone’s money can be returned at the right time.
