A speeding auto filled with passengers collided with an electric pole in Purnia, Bihar. A 74-year-old elderly man traveling in an auto died in this accident. While the condition of one person remains quite critical, he has been admitted to Purnia GMCH for treatment. However, after the incident the driver left the auto and ran away. It is being told that this incident happened near Dhamdaha petrol pump. Where the old man was returning home after looking for a boy for his daughter’s marriage. After the incident, the family members are in bad condition and crying. The deceased has been identified as Achyutanand Tiwari, resident of Bikothi village.
The relatives of the deceased told that Achyutanand Tiwari was returning home by auto after seeing the boy about his daughter’s marriage. Then suddenly the auto went out of control. After this, the speeding auto filled with passengers collided with an electric pole on the roadside. After this incident, Achyutanand Tiwari died on the spot. While the condition of another passenger is critical. After this, the local people informed the relatives of the deceased and injured and the police about the incident. After this, the family members who reached the spot, seeing the critical condition of the injured, admitted him to GMCH Purnia. At the time of the incident, there were six people including the driver in the auto.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Dhamdaha police station reached the spot. Then they took the body in their custody and sent it to GMCH Purnia for post-mortem. Dhamdaha Police Station Inspector Kumar Abhinav said that information has been received about the death of an elderly person in a road accident. After the incident, the police reached the spot, took the body into custody and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. Along with this, the damaged auto has been taken into possession.
