In Bhojpur, a fearless criminal looted Rs 4 lakh 99 thousand from a petrol pump owner in broad daylight. The victim informed the police who were roaming there about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police chased the criminal who was running away with the money. During the escape, there was an encounter between the criminal and the police in which the criminal shot the constable. The police also retaliated in which the criminal was injured. The matter pertains to Bindtoli of Nagar police station area.

The owner of Vinayak Petrol Pump in Katira situated in Nawada police station area was going to deposit money in the SBI branch located near Arya Samaj Mandir of Nagar police station with Rs 4 lakh 99 thousand. But as soon as he was about to enter inside the bank gate, the miscreant carrying a weapon, showing fear of a pistol, started snatching money from the petrol pump owner and ran away. During this, the petrol pump owner fired at the criminal with a licensed pistol. Still the criminal absconded. Whereas, the petrol pump owner, who was roaming around in the vicinity, asked the cross mobile constable of the city police station to chase him on the bike.

The miscreant opened fire on the constable

When the constable of the city police station started chasing the criminals. Till then these people had reached Bindtoli of Nagar police station area. Now fearing that they will be caught, the fleeing criminal started firing at the constable who was chasing, in response to which the constable also retaliated. In this sequence, about 25 to 30 rounds were fired from both the sides, in which one bullet hit the constable Arjun Kumar in the stomach.
