A massive fire broke out in Nakatahi village of Kateya police station area of ​​Gopalganj district of Bihar on Thursday. In this incident, 19 houses were burnt along with Rs 50,000 in cash, wedding items, jewellery, motor cycles, clothes, cycles, grains and other goods worth lakhs of rupees. In this fire incident, property worth more than Rs 10 lakh was destroyed. However, with the help of hundreds of villagers and three fire engines, the fire could be controlled after three hours.

According to the information, on Thursday afternoon a sudden fire broke out in the house of Ramchandra Bhagat, resident of Nakatahi village. Within no time this fire engulfed many houses. As long as people could understand something. 19 houses were burnt to ashes in the fire. The fire victims include Sitaram Bhagat, Dharmendra Bhagat, Sonelal Bhagat, Hareram Bhagat, Jairam Bhagat, Mukesh Bhagat, Rakesh Bhagat, Shrikant Bhagat, Faudar Bhagat, Prabhu Bhagat, Laxman Bhagat, Dinanath Bhagat, Nandlal Bhagat, Ranjit Bhagat, Ramchandra Bhagat.

Villagers told that Ramchandra’s family had gone to the fields to harvest the wheat crop. Meanwhile, a gas cylinder kept inside the house exploded, after which the fire took a catastrophic form. A piece of the cylinder fell in a field a hundred meters away from the spot. After some time, the tank of the bike burst, due to which the fire took a more severe form. People told that there was a wedding celebration in many houses, for which the goods were purchased and kept at home. This fire also burnt the things arranged for the wedding to ashes.

Here, after receiving information about the incident, CO Tarun Kumar Ranjan, CI Satendra Singh, Additional Police Station Head Alok Gupta, Chief Ashok Prasad Gupta, Dealer Jairam Gupta and social worker Sandeep Pushpak reached the spot and inquired about the condition of the victims. The CO said that the damage caused in the fire incident is being assessed. After investigation, appropriate compensation will be given to the victims. At the same time, the local head immediately provided Chura Meetha to all the fire victims.
