Due to the rise in the water level of the Harohar river in many areas of Panapur, Dehkusumbha, Bhadosi, Mafo, Gagaur Panchayat of Ghatkusumbha block, water has entered the lower parts of Akarpur, Gadbadiya, Sujawalpur, Panapur, Pranpur, Jitparpur, Mohammadpur, Harnamchak, Alapur, Bataura, Murbaria, Sahara, Gurera, Ghatkusumbha, Koyla, Baunghat villages. Crops like paddy, maize, pigeon pea planted by the farmers have started drowning in the water. The water level of the Harohar river is increasing. It is feared that by late night many villages will be cut off from the headquarters.
