Criminals have become fearless in Begusarai. Within a span of about 18 hours, criminals fired at two different businessmen in Begusarai, in which one gold trader died while the condition of the other remains critical. The incident is of Sonarpatti located in Mungeriganj of Nagar police station area, which is just 200 meters away from Nagar police station. Fearless criminals shot Ravi Roshan alias Reddu, the owner of Jai Mata Di Swarna Vyasai, in front of the shop in broad daylight. According to eyewitnesses, three criminals came to the shop riding on the same bike and called the shopkeeper outside the shop. As soon as the shopkeeper came out, he was shot thrice. As soon as the bullet was fired, there was an atmosphere of chaos on the spot. In a hurry, the nearby shopkeepers took Ravi Roshan to a private hospital where Ravi Roshan alias Reddu died during treatment.
On the other hand, the second incident is of Bagraha Dih of Phulwaria police station area, where criminals shot and injured a potato mattress businessman late last night. He is currently undergoing treatment at a private nursing home where his condition remains critical. Now, due to two major incidents within a span of about 18 hours, the Begusarai police is again under the scanner. People are directly alleging that now the fear of Begusarai police has completely disappeared from the mind and heart of the criminals.

Deputy Mayor Anita Devi, who was present at the spot, said that the police should arrest the culprit within 24 hours, otherwise all the gold traders would be forced to agitate on the streets. Angry traders have called for Begusarai market bandh on Tuesday.

In this case, DSP Sadar Amit Kumar says that the reason for this murder is mutual enmity. At present, the police is probing all the points.
