Police said that Khagaria police had not informed the media regarding the arrest of Sandeep, the district’s rewarded Naxalite. Sandeep was arrested by Begusarai police from Chhaurahi in Begusarai district last Saturday. However, Naxalite Chandan has given information to the police about the Naxalite network in Khagaria and many Naxalite networks in the border districts. On the basis of this information, Khagaria police arrested the father and son, the leaders of Naxalite network, in Bahadurpur police picket area of ​​Alauli police station. It is being told that the accused father is a ration dealer, who under the guise of giving protection to Naxalites and collecting levy from brick kilns.

Naxalites used to keep weapons in dealer’s house

Police said that Rambalak Yadav, son of Mahendra Yadav, resident of Pokhara village under Bahadurpur picket of Alauli block, works as a ration dealer. It is being told that Rambalak Yadav used to store the weapons of Naxalites under the cover of government ration shop. Whereas, his son Chandan Kumar looked after the security of the weapon. On Sunday morning, both father and son were arrested by Khagaria police with seven country-made weapons and 10 bullets.

The network was up to the border district

SDPO Sanjay Kumar said that the accused father and son were carrying out illegal activities in the border areas of Khagaria district. He told that on Saturday, Begusarai police had arrested Naxalite Sandeep. Frisk action has been taken against him. He said that all three have been kept in police custody for questioning, which may reveal the Naxalite network. He told that Naxalite Sandeep Khagaria arrested on Saturday is a relative of the father and son arrested from Alauli area.
