After handing over the Jamui Lok Sabha to his brother-in-law Arun Bharti, Chirag Paswan entered the electoral fray from Hajipur seat. He campaigned vigorously. PM Modi also held an election rally here. Appealed to the public to vote in favor of Chirag. Chirag is contesting against RJD candidate Shivchandra Ram. In all the exit polls so far, Chirag Paswan is expected to win. It will be clear on June 4 whether this seat comes in the account of Modi’s Hanuman or not.
