Expansion

Perhaps this is what is called politics. When nephew Chirag Paswan showed his attitude towards BJP and took the path of separation from it, BJP took his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras along with LJP MPs. Ran the government for full five years. And now when uncle Paras tried to show his stance on seat distribution, BJP took nephew Chirag on board and announced to go to the elections with him. This relationship between BJP and LJP can be called political compulsion.

On Monday, when BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde announced the agreement between NDA allies on Bihar seats, Pashupati Kumar Paras’s name did not come up on the lips of any leader even once in the entire press conference. This was an indication that BJP has now decided to look beyond Paras.

At the same time, Sanjay Mayukh, co-head of BJP’s national media cell, described the coordination on seats between NDA allies as the ‘equation of Bihar’s fate’. It was clear from the statement of the BJP leader, who has a keen understanding of the political equations of Bihar, that the party along with its allies is thinking of achieving a one-sided victory in the state.

It is also clear from this that he is not afraid of any kind of loss from Pashupati Kumar Paras. That is, BJP is confident that even if Pashupati Kumar Paras goes with Tejashwi Yadav, the traditional voters of LJP will remain with NDA because of Chirag.

Why only lamp?

Chirag Paswan had left NDA demanding more seats in Bihar. But from then till now he has never made any negative comment about BJP leadership or Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He kept calling himself Hanuman of Ram (Prime Minister Narendra Modi). When there was this spirit of service, it was bound to be rewarded sooner or later. Eventually Chirag Paswan once again joined the NDA, and Pashupati Kumar Paras, who was adamant on not making any compromise with Chirag, had to go out.

A leader of Bihar BJP told Amar Ujala that the bitter truth of our society is that the son is considered the heir of his father’s politics. Ultimately Akhilesh Yadav became the successor of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s politics, despite the presence of many big leaders in Rashtriya Janata Dal, only Tejaswi Yadav is considered to be the successor of Lalu Yadav’s politics. There was no doubt that even if Chirag Paswan had gone on a different path in the Lok Sabha elections and Paras had been with BJP, the support of a large section of the Paswan community would have been with Chirag Paswan.

According to the leader, Chirag Paswan remains politically active. While he is continuously organizing programs on the issues of Bihar and youth, Chacha has not done any major political program since assuming the post of minister, which could prove that his traditional voters are with him. This is the reason why BJP, which is following the strategy of securing one vote at a time, tried to keep Chirag with it.

Which way will you go uncle?

Right now speculation is going on as to which way Pashupati Kumar Paras will go. BJP does not want to give any message that it can abandon its old allies at any level. This is the reason why efforts were made to woo Pashupati Kumar Paras till the last moment. But due to his refusal to form any alliance with Chirag, BJP had to leave Paras alone. But BJP leaders believe that even if Pashupati Kumar Paras goes separate ways, the NDA camp will not suffer any loss of votes. However, the party will still try to woo Paras.
