Suddenly there was a stampede in Baba Brahmeshwar Dham of Buxar. 12 people were injured in this. At the same time, the condition of 4 people is serious. All four were referred to higher center. In fact, a long queue of devotees had started at the world famous Baba Brahmeshwar Dham temple from 2 o’clock in the midnight regarding Mahashivratri. In the race to offer water first in the afternoon, devotees started entering the sanctum sanctorum without queuing up. During this there was panic. The temple administration took command and stopped the devotees near the gate and lathi-charged them. Meanwhile, people started running here and there.
Twelve people, including a woman, were injured in the stampede. Two of these women were beheaded. After taking them to the medical team deployed at the local level by the temple administration, they were admitted to PHC Raghunathpur. Out of this, 4 people have been admitted to Sadar Hospital in critical condition.
