Bihar Information and Public Relations Minister Maheshwar Hazari, in the JDU workers conference held in Buxar on Sunday, expressed confidence of NDA forming the government with full majority in the 2025 assembly elections. He said that NDA’s target is ‘225 seats in 2025’ and once again the Chief Minister will be Nitish Kumar. Maheshwar Hazari said that the NDA alliance is completely united and will return to power in the upcoming elections by winning more than 225 seats. He also said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar has made unprecedented development compared to previous governments.

The minister admitted that in the last Bihar assembly elections, JDU had got less seats than expected due to ‘confusion’. However, he also said that in the recently held by-elections, NDA won all the seats, which is a proof of the unity and popularity of the alliance. Maheshwar Hazari described NDA’s victory in the by-election as the result of the unity of the alliance. He specifically mentioned that victory was achieved even in areas where RJD had dominated for 40 years.
