Five deaths in the incident of mob lynching in Tetaria of Nabinagar police station area of Aurangabad, Bihar on Monday afternoon have shocked human sensibilities. This incident has left humanity torn and ashamed. This incident also indicates the continuing lack of tolerance in human nature, which is extremely dangerous. To prevent such a trend from growing, it is felt necessary to teach the moral lesson of tolerance in the society. All the incidents of mob lynching clearly indicate that no person is ready to tolerate or respect anyone’s ideas or beliefs contrary to his own.
This is how the crowd got angry
According to the information, in the incident of mob lynching of Tetriya of Nabinagar, Aurangabad, it came to light that the incident started with parking of the car in front of the shop. When the shopkeeper prohibited car riders from parking their cars in front of the shop, because doing so was affecting his business. But one of the car riders, Mohd. Mojahid considered the shopkeeper’s words as an insult to him, he could not tolerate it. In anger, he took out a pistol from his pocket and fired at the shopkeeper. But instead of hitting the shopkeeper, the bullet hit Ramsharan Chauhan (60), an elderly villager of Mahuari village, who was sitting next to him. Then the injured died on the way while being taken for treatment. After this, things got worse due to which four out of the five youths traveling in the car lost their lives in mob lynching by the villagers.

After the old man died due to bullet injury, the angry villagers pulled the five people in the car out of the vehicle and started beating them mercilessly with sticks, kicks and punches. They beat all five to death. Four of these people died during treatment after being beaten by the mob. While one injured person is currently undergoing treatment in Aurangabad Sadar Hospital.
Four of the five people in the car have died so far due to being beaten by the mob. All four deceased are residents of Haidernagar in Palamu district of Jharkhand. Among the dead was Mohd. Arman, Mohd. Anjar, Mohd. Mojahid and Vakil Sharma are included. Whereas, Mohd. The lawyer is currently undergoing treatment at Aurangabad Sadar Hospital. Of these, two died at Nabinagar Referral Hospital on Monday, one at Aurangabad Sadar Hospital and one at Magadh Medical College Hospital, Gaya on Tuesday. It is being told that all the people in the car were going to visit Shershah Ka Rauza of Sasaram with the intention of having fun.

Tolerance is necessary to stop incidents of mob lynching. Only when a person has a feeling of tolerance will he respect the thoughts, behavior and religious feelings of others. Only when this happens will incidents of mob lynching stop. This is not just for a particular community but is important for everyone. Most of the incidents of mob lynching have been the result of intolerance and hatred towards other religions and castes. The incident of Tetaria is also pointing in this direction.
Experts are of the opinion that incidents of mob lynching will not stop just by making strict laws. For this, moral education is also needed. Also, for this, all the enlightened people of the society and all the religious gurus will also have to come forward. Even if there is talk of justifying violence by retaliatory violence in any religious book, we will have to show courage to reject those things in the present context. We have to show courage to say openly that the things mentioned in a particular book are not suitable for today’s times. Mob lynching will stop only after all this is done. At the same time, the law will take its course.
