A tragic accident has come to light in Bettiah district, where two people died in a head-on collision between a truck and an e-rickshaw. While five other people were seriously injured. This accident happened near Machli Lok on NH-727. The deceased have been identified as Kanhai Mahato, a resident of Roopdih, and Syed Arman, an e-rickshaw driver.
According to the information, this incident happened when there was a massive collision between a truck and an e-rickshaw. In this accident, Kanhai Mahato and e-rickshaw driver Syed Arman died on the spot. Meanwhile, five other people traveling in the e-rickshaw were seriously injured. These injured include Krishnavati Devi, wife of Kanhai Mahato, Reema Devi, wife of Vinod Manjhi, Durgesh Manjhi, resident of Amwa Mazar Mushari Tola, Shanti Devi, wife of Durgesh Manjhi and their two children Bharat Kumar (6) and Geeta Kumari (4).
It is being told that all the injured were immediately admitted to GMCH Bettiah with the help of local people and police, where their condition remains critical. Doctors are making every possible effort to save the lives of the injured. At the same time, after the accident, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot. However, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter and the search for the truck driver is going on. The cause of the accident and its other aspects are being investigated.
