The impact of the heat wave is increasing continuously in Bihar. One more railway passenger died due to the heat wave in Gaya. A few days ago a dozen tourists from Tamil Nadu fell sick, in which two women died. Today again a woman traveling by train died. Although the doctor of the railway hospital reached Gaya junction after the railway administration received the information that a female passenger had fallen sick due to heat stroke, but before that the female passenger had already died. The deceased was Baby Devi, a resident of Basan Bigha under Khijrasarai police station area of Gaya district. Her age is said to be around 37 years.

Railway personnel say that a female passenger died in Anand Vihar-Gaya Express coming from Anand Vihar Terminal to Gaya. Basni Devi was travelling in coach number B-2 33 to 36 of the train. On receiving information about Basni Devi’s deteriorating health, the medical officer of the Railway Subdivision Hospital came to Gaya Junction and examined Baby Devi’s health, she was found dead. It was told that four passengers had left for Gaya on the ticket of PNR number 286248386, out of which one Basni Devi died. After this, the railway administration is taking further action. At the same time, the railway police has informed the relatives of the deceased woman.
