Husband and wife died in an accident during the construction of toilet tank shuttering in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. The wife who went to save her husband also became a victim of this accident and both died. The incident created an outcry among the family members. The case has been reported from Dardha Mohammadpur village of Sakra police station area. Both the deceased in the incident have been identified as Anil Sahni (32) and Pramila Devi (26).

The incident is reported to have taken place on Thursday afternoon. When Anil Kumar Sahni, a mason by profession, was building a tank in his new house. During this time, he got stuck in the tank, hearing whose scream his wife Pramila Devi fainted. After that she also got stuck in the tank. Seeing both of them trapped, Anil Sahni’s brother came running. But both could not be evacuated, after which a crowd of villagers gathered on the spot.

Information about the matter was given to the local Sakra police station, after which the police, with the help of a local villager, broke the wall with a JCB and rescued both of them and were immediately sent to SKMCH Medical College for treatment. Where after examination the doctors declared him dead. There is an outcry among the family members due to the incident and there is mourning in the family.

In the matter, Sakra police station in-charge Rajukumar Pal said, the accident took place during the construction of shuttering of the toilet tank in a house. Two people of the house were buried in it, due to which both of them were sent to SKMCH Medical College for treatment. Where both of them died during treatment. The bodies of both were taken into their custody and postmortem was done. Further action is being taken in the matter.
