A big accident has happened for Jehanabad on the morning of Dhanteras. A highway vehicle going at high speed crushed two people riding a bike, due to which both of them died on the spot. After the incident, nearby people reached the spot and arrested the highway driver along with him and handed him over to the city police station. On Gaya-Patna NH 83, a speeding highway hit two people riding a bike, both of them died in this accident. The incident took place near Bhanwariya bridge. The deceased have been identified as Ashok Sharma and Devendra Sharma.

It is being told that both of them were going for some work riding a bike. Meanwhile, a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction hit both of them hard. In this accident, Ashok Sharma died on the spot, while Dedendra Sharma was seriously injured. People nearby immediately took him to Sadar Hospital, where he also died during treatment. People demanded action against those driving at high speed. As soon as the police got information about this incident, they reached the spot, seized the truck and took the driver into custody. Police have sent the bodies to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
