Darbhanga DM has recommended taking departmental and legal action against two former zonal officers, one revenue officer and four revenue employees. The allegation against them is that all of them together have committed a big scam in the game of land survey. This action has been taken in Manigachi block. Those accused include the then CO Ravindra Kumar Chaupal, revenue officer Rajeev Prakash Rai, revenue employee Sarita Rani, Pashupati Kumar Jha, Ram Pyare Yadav, Naveen Kumar Singh, Nandlal Das and Amit Ranjan.

In this matter, the present zonal officer says that this matter is very old, but when the land survey started this year, this matter came to light. He told that an order has been issued to form ‘A’ and send a report against the then CO Ravindra Kumar Chaupal, Revenue Officer Rajeev Prakash Rai, Revenue employee Sarita Rani, Pashupati Kumar Jha, Ram Pyare Yadav, Naveen Kumar Singh, Nandlal Das and Amit Ranjan. It is said that the zonal officers, along with their subordinate employees, have confiscated land worth crores of rupees, disregarding all the rules and regulations. There has been a stir. In this regard, Circle Officer Ravikant said that the instructions of the senior officers are being followed.
