Expansion

Although complete prohibition has been implemented in the entire state including Saran, despite this, sale and consumption of liquor is going on continuously in Bihar. Moreover, the businessmen associated with this business are increasing by leaps and bounds. For example, Bihar Police has sealed the huge assets of liquor traders. However, due to drinking of poisonous liquor, maximum number of deaths have occurred under suspicious circumstances in Saran, Siwan and Gopalganj districts of Saran division in Bihar. In the release issued by Saran Superintendent of Police Dr. Kumar Ashish, it has been said that continuous action has been taken against the businessmen involved in manufacturing, purchasing and purchasing illegal liquor. However, now action under Bihar Crime Control Act CCA-3 has been taken against a total of 170 persons in Saran district against businessmen involved in liquor business. In which the names of a total of 28 businessmen of Mashrak police station area have been included.

Recently, dozens of people had died due to drinking poisonous liquor in various villages of Masrakh police station area, while two others had lost their eyesight. After the death due to drinking poisonous liquor, Saran police has arrested Mantu Singh, son of Siya Singh, resident of Bali Vishunpura village of local police station area, and his wife Neetu Devi and sent them to jail. But the names of these businessmen are not in the list of liquor related businessmen released by Saran Police. The most interesting thing is that a complete ban on drinking and sale of liquor has been implemented in Bihar, while the availability of liquor continues unabated. Because to impose 100 percent ban on liquor, a special raid team has been formed by the District Police, Excise Department Police and State Headquarters. But despite this, huge consignments of liquor are entering Bihar from the border of Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. People say that there is collusion between Bihar Police and Excise Department police in this, because the responsibility of checking all types of vehicles while entering Bihar has been entrusted to Excise and Bihar Police.
