The department is continuously taking action against teachers doing wrong in West Champaran. Taking seriously the violent clash between the headmaster and the assistant teacher over eating mid-day meal last Thursday in the Higher Secondary School Purbi Pakuhwa of Mainatad block, the DPO Establishment has taken action. On the report of BEO Mainatad, DPO Establishment Yogesh Kumar has suspended teacher Sunil Kumar. This action of the DPO has created a stir among the teachers of Bettiah district.

Here, the department has also sent a letter to the Secretary cum BDO of the Block Teacher Planning Committee to take action against Headmaster Satyendra Kumar. Also, BEO Mainatad has been directed to coordinate with the BDO and ensure compliance and submit the report soon. DPO Establishment has said in his letter that on the basis of the report of BEO Mainatad, the teacher Sunil Kumar is suspended from the date of issue of the letter as he was found to be in violation of the provisions specified in sub-clause ‘a’, ‘b’, ‘c’ of clause-9 of the Bihar Government Servant (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules 2005 as amended in 2010 on the charge of assault on Headmaster Satyendra Kumar over eating mid-day meal. Their headquarters is fixed at Block Resource Center Bhitha. The charge sheet will be issued separately. The order of DEO Bettiah is also received on the file.
Clashes between HM and teacher over MDM
Let us tell you that on Thursday during lunch in Uchcha Madhyamik Vidyalay Purvi Pakuhwa, assistant teacher Sunil Kumar and HM had a fight over MDM. Due to which HM Satyendra Kumar was injured. Angry parents also entered the school and beat up assistant teacher Sunil Kumar. Angry students blocked the Bettiah Mainatad main road due to the fight between the teachers. On this, MLA Virendra Gupta ended the blockade and asked DPO Establishment to investigate the incident and take action. Parents also expressed their anger over the fight in the school. The school campus was converted into a battlefield for hours.
