After this, the sand will reach you through home delivery. Actually, the “Balu Mitra” portal is being developed by the Mines and Geology Department. Anyone can order sand online through this portal. Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha said that the NDA government is committed to providing high quality sand to the public at a reasonable price. For this, the Balu Mitra portal is being developed. Bihar State Mining Corporation Limited has been authorized by the state government to operate this portal.
You can order sand of your choice online
Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha said that all sand ghat settlement holders and license holders selling sand will be registered on the Balu Mitra portal, whose sale rate of sand will be displayed on the portal. By comparing the sale rates, buyers will be able to order sand of their choice online. Similarly, the registration of transporters and the transport fare per kilometer according to the type of vehicle will also be recorded on the Balu Mitra portal. On the Balu Mitra portal, customers can book orders after verification through OTP by entering their name, address and details of the type and quantity of sand as per their requirement. Customers can purchase sand directly from the operating sand ghats or storage licenses.
Vehicles will be monitored through GPS
The Deputy CM said that customers can also make online payment for sand purchase. With the implementation of the portal, sand will be available to the general public at a lower price. Also, vehicle owners will be able to register their vehicles on the Balu Mitra portal themselves. For this, information related to the vehicle, vehicle owner and driver will have to be entered and verified through OTP. After the order is confirmed, the customer will be informed about the vehicle registration number, name and mobile number of the vehicle owner and driver through SMS. After selecting the appropriate seller and transporter, the order for the supply of sand will be received after online payment. Also, these vehicles will be monitored through GPS till they reach the customer. Customers can also track these vehicles.
