Bhojpur Police and STF in a joint raid have arrested Naxalite Vijay Yadav alias Sunil Yadav, carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh, from Darihat village of Rohtas district. The arrested Naxalite Vijay Yadav is the son of Siyaram Yadav, resident of Baisadih village of Rohtas district. Vijay Yadav was originally a resident of Babubadh village of Chauri police station area of Bhojpur district, but after a few days, Vijay Yadav moved from Babubadh village to Siyadih village of Charpokhari police station area. In the year 2003, Vijay Yadav along with his family moved from Siadih to Ayer Kotha Baisadih village of Rohtas district.
Was on the run for nine years
Four serious cases are registered against Vijay Yadav in Charpokhari police station. Vijay Yadav was absconding for nine years after dodging the police. Bhojpur police and STF team have arrested Vijay Yadav and brought him to Arrah. According to the police, he was also accused of burning a police vehicle near Semrao village of Bhojpur in 2006 and planting land mines and causing an explosion near the bridge of Katharai village of Charpokhari police station area in 2015, in which the police arrested Vijay Yadav. Was sent to jail. But he came out of jail on bail after just 3 months. In the year 2015, the police has already arrested an accused for causing an explosion by planting land mines near Katharai bridge of Charpokhari police station area. After interrogating the arrested accused, the process of sending him to jail is being done.
A reward of Rs 1 lakh was announced four days before his arrest.
Charpokhari police station incharge Santosh Kumar said that Naxalite Vijay Yadav alias Sunil Yadav, carrying a reward of one lakh, has been arrested with STF from Darihat village in Rohtas district. The government had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh on Vijay Yadav four days ago.
Police and STF will get reward money
It is being told that the police personnel and STF who are successful in arresting Naxalite Vijay Yadav will get a reward amount of Rs 1 lakh. STF Inspector Ajit Kumar and Charpokhari Police Station Head Santosh Kumar Singh along with the case researcher and other police personnel were arrested from the house of Vijay Yadav in Darihat village of Rohtas district at 9 o’clock on Friday. Santosh Kumar Singh told that when the police reached Vijay Yadav’s house to arrest him, he was at home and drinking tea.
