Used to settle disputed land
Giving information about the incident, Katihar Sadar SDPO Abhijeet Kumar Singh said that the Superintendent of Police had received secret information that a person is getting disputed land settled by posing as a fake DSP and showing his influence on the general public in the area. As soon as the information was received, the police started investigating. Today, on Saturday, during vehicle checking, when a Tiago car was stopped for checking, a driver and a person wearing a police uniform were sitting inside. He introduced himself as a trainee DSP of the 66th batch. When the police got suspicious, the police started investigating the matter. During the investigation, it was found that the case was fake, after which the police arrested the fake DSP.
Police engaged in investigation
Katihar Sadar SDPO Abhijeet Kumar Singh said that the police have recovered a Tiago car, an ID card with Bihar Police Service written on it, mobile, bank ATM and other documents from the arrested accused. At present, the police have started investigating the entire case.
